Bees of Gaza

We wanted to introduce children to strong female role models like Samaar Elba, a Gaza resident who persists in the face of hardship. Once a beekeeper with her father, Samaar continues to pursue her dream of flourishing gardens and thriving bees, inspiring children that dreams can thrive against all odds.

Children need good role models. With this understanding, we wanted to introduce children to female characters who are pioneers with their success, heroism, initiative, attitude and stance. Samaar Elba is a heroine who, despite the difficulties in Gaza, manages to make flowers bloom where she lives. When Samaar and her father were beekeepers, they dreamed of a world blessed with bees, sweetened with honey and decorated with flowers. The conditions in her region are very difficult, her gardens and beehives are destroyed, but Samaar does not give up. She is not afraid to start over and tries to realize the dream she had with her father, even if she is alone. She shows the children that dreams can blossom under any circumstances.
