The Adventures of Tekin

Tekin, a curious and somewhat messy child with a love of science, grows up in an unusual family. His father, Kağan, unlike typical rulers, explores with his lion, Akide, planting trees and discovering books. His mother, Toplu Sultan, named for her soccer skills, manages their modest palace. Through his upbringing, Tekin learns important values such as responsibility, embracing differences, avoiding prejudice, conservation, sharing and kindness in this bizarre and endearing world. He invites everyone to share in his dreams.

 

Tekin is a little messy, a little curious, a little anxious; he loves science, dreams a lot, just like every other child. But Tekin’s family is a little different. His father Kağan is a ruler, but he is not like other the other rulers at all. He gets on his lion names Akide and sets forth just to plant new trees and discover new books. And his mother Toplu Sultan, taking care of their two-bedroom palace, is named like this because she is an excellent soccer player. Tekin gains awareness of virtues such as realizing his responsibilities, embracing differences, not being prejudiced, not wasting, sharing and being kind in this lovely and sometimes funny world. Tekin is inviting everyone to join his dreams.
