Not Too Far Away

A friendship between a child and an elderly woman… It all begins when Çınar witnesses Ms. Feride being taken away by ambulance. Their homes are actually very close, but they are unaware of each other. Çınar lives on the 14th floor of a high-rise apartment building; Ms. Feride, on the other hand, lives in a two-story house hidden behind a wall, as if to protect herself from the surrounding high-rise buildings. The ambulance carrying Ms. Feride takes her to the hospital where Çınar’s mother works as a nurse. This is how Ms. Feride and Çınar meet. Some people want to demolish Ms. Feride’s house. Taking advantage of Ms. Feride being in the hospital, they empty her house. While the house is being emptied, Çınar pursues the stories behind the items left behind in a forgotten bag.
