The Art of Zero Waste

Developing children’s ecological literacy is now a highly prioritized issue. The Art of Zero Waste, the fourth book in the One Foot in Nature series, aims to help children view the waste they produce from a different perspective. Is every piece of waste trash? What can we do to reduce our waste? What is zero waste? What qualities should an “inventor” possess?  While answering these questions, children are inspired to believe that everyone can do something—no matter how small the steps—to reduce waste and make the world a better place.  Today’s children can help shape an eco-conscious future by applying what they learn about mindful consumption, upcycling, recycling, and zero waste.

The world and all living things need this.
