The Sage Vizier: Nizamülmülk

Nizamülmülk, who served as both vizier and atabeg to the sultans of the Great Seljuk State, was a great sage as well as a political figure. It was thanks to Nizamülmülk that the institutions of the Seljuk State were organized and this tradition was adopted and traditionalized by other Turkish states.
