Children have anxiety too, which keeps gnawing their minds. It makes them anxious and they don’t know how to deal with it. Their parents and the adults around them help them in different ways. They also read a lot of stories to them to bring them peace. Because stories have healing powers. So is Bear Ze, because it is a therapeutic story.
Bear Ze is a lovely bear which can’t stop thinking about the leaves. During Fall, there are leaves everywhere. In the garden, on the street, in the kitchen, between his books but mostly, in his head… Bear Ze had developed different ways to get rid of the leaves: Blowing them away with a hairdryer, vacuuming them with a vacuum cleaner, shouting with all his power… But none of them work. The leaves keep swirling around his head. One day, Bear Ze sees leaves drifting away in the stream and realizes what he should do…
The story, in which children’s anxieties are expressed with the metaphor of leaves, will not only guide children to get rid of their anxiety, but also allow them to have a pleasant time with the illustrations accompanying the narrative.
